It is a very good question and yes it already possible to a certain degree by analysing the back reflected light. It's not AI but it can reach a certain preset learned level by the operator.

Quick question: Would it one day be possible to implement AI to look at a surface and determine the perfect amount of laser energy to shoot at specific points to get the best cleaning, depending on contamination, angle, etc.? Maybe it's too difficult to implement this at the moment, or requires programming and sensor tech that doesn't exist. I'm just a curious UA-cam watcher. :)

Whoever the guy is doing it by hand - you need to never use him for a demonstration again. Hire a spray painter who paints cars. Guys, it’s 2023, batteries are good enough for you to make 5-10kw units that are not constrained by the outlet current ratings and do not require 3-phase power. I hope for a 10kw unit where you can adjust the power from 0 all the way to max.
